58  artists and craftspeople open their doors to the public

This event is run by artists and highlights the extraordinary wealth and vibrancy of visual arts and crafts activity in the Upper Calder Valley

Happening alongside the Hebden Bridge Arts Festival, a journey around the Open Studios trail gives you the opportunity to chat with the artists, exchange ideas and knowledge and to purchase work directly from the artist.  Many of the artists work collectively in studio groups; others work independently from their own studios

To add to your fun and to get to some of those outlying studios that are easy to miss, we are this year running a free minibus tour of these studios. The bus will start from Hebden Bridge Marina at 11am in the Saturday and Sunday. The tour takes all day and refreshments are available en route. The full timetable with all drop off and pick up points are available from the Canal and Visitor Centre, The Arts Festival Office and this website

We would like to thank Hebden Royd Town Council and the Bearder Charity for their financial support of the minibus tour

Liability

Please bear in mind that you are being invited into artists' working studios and due care must be taken for your own safety as well as the property of the artist.  Hebden Bridge Open Studios cannot accept liability for loss or injury to any member of the public visiting any venues listed on this site
